Romania as the perfect host for OneLife Rally Winter Edition 2024 - Operation Carpatica
We have to admit, over the years, the OneLife family has developed a strong passion for testing cars on icy roads. Moreover, seeing the huge turnout of fans for our Winter Editions never fails to bring smiles to our faces, and the winter of 2024 was no exception! So, naturally, we decided to kick off the exciting year with yet another OneLife Rally Winter Edition, and this year it was Operation Carpatica!
From February 1st to February 4th we found Romania to be the ideal host for our winter adventure!
Operation Carpatica started in the charming city of Cluj-Napoca, often referred to as the unofficial capital of Transylvania. With the fantastic hospitality of Vibre Hotel and an exciting stop at VMax Karting premises, we had the most perfect first day of the event. Those of you who pay attention even to the smallest details may have noticed some of our participants wearing fresh garments - we won’t share too much, but just invite you to stay tuned for our upcoming brand new OneLife webshop, featuring merch you simply will love to wear.
Next up on our must-visit list was beautiful Lago Colibita, a frozen lake surrounded by lush pine-covered mountains. With a traditional Romanian dinner and evening hangouts, some serious drifting in the snow, and wild buggy drive deep in the forest, Colibita’s uniqueness simply left us speechless and already thinking - we don’t want to see Operation Carpatica ending just yet.
What would Operation Carpatica be without a visit to Poiana Brasov, the biggest mountain resort in Romania, located deep in the Carpathian Mountains? This resort town was not only a skiing paradise but also the perfect ending to 2024’s Winter Edition of OneLife Rally.
